Really beautiful piece of digital art. The colors blend well together. Shading is outstanding. Proportions are accurate. I think that you should have tried a more dynamic angle with this scene however. Something as simple as just giving a worm's eye view can make the whole piece even better. Having that bow pointing straight at you would have been amazing. The scythe looks curvy at the blade part, but then again I don't know if that was intentional or not. The little gray confetti-like things that are flying around kind of take away some of the beauty of the piece. I think that you would have been better off to just leave them out. Other than those few things, this is a really nice digital piece.
Maybe you can add something on her legs/thighs? Maybe you can shred some of that pants (because she's in war/fight)? The left-upper corner is somewhat "empty/no life/action" is there. If you could "do something" there?
I really like this pose and think it fits well with the setting and scenery. They both work together to direct the eye through the whole piece. The scythe is super bad ass and I love how she's sticking her finger up in the air. ALSO, you did a great job with the skin. However, I think that her face is somehow masculine, though it is still very soft as a woman's would be. . . I don't know, maybe it's just me. oO
And I just noticed the lights in the background and how they're sort of shining down on her but not. It's a subtle way of making her seem powerful and heroic. I'mmmm going to watch you- I'm really looking forward to seeing what you create next!
